Stan has been teaching for over twenty-five years. He attended Cal State Hayward in the early 70s where he studied guitar from Jim Bertram. He also studied with Norman Meacham as his principal flamenco and Brazilian jazz teacher.
Stan is fluent in folk, flamenco, classical, rock, and Latin American Jazz. Stan has been performing since the age of 14 when he landed on the stage of the Fillmore West in San Francisco.
Stan teaches all ages and is particularly adept at teaching both guitar and voice as a performance disciplines
